Mark is the director and co-founder of Echelon Planning. He has over 30 years of experience in urban planning and has worked in state and local government, private consulting and the property industry. Over the course of his career, Mark prepared regional-scale development strategies in inner and middle Melbourne, in each of the major Metropolitan growth corridors and regional cities.

More recently Mark has advised government on implementing a wide range of urban renewal projects, as well as assisting private clients to rezone land and secure planning for larger-scale residential and commercial projects.

Mark prepared his first housing strategy as a young man at the City of Kingston circa 25 years ago, and has been working on housing strategies and development projects ever since.
