Senior Planning Advisor
Long Term Contract- Up to 31 March 2025
About the Role
The Senior Planning Advisor has responsibility for overseeing the coordination and assessment of complex development applications and facilitating pre-lodgement discussions on state significant developments, in consultation with EPA technical advisers.
The position assists with the conduct of EPA planning and development assessment projects and the preparation of EPA comments on proposed planning strategy and policy amendments. The position also acts as an expert in the field of planning within the EPA and is responsible for exercising development application delegations on behalf of the Board of the EPA.
Note: This contract has the potential to be extended over a longer term.

The EPA works closely with industry, the community and government to protect the unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. The EPA is responsible for the administration of the Environment Protection Act 1993 (EP Act) and the Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021 (RPC Act) and also exercises responsibilities under other South Australian planning and environmental legislation.

Essential Qualification: Recognised degree in planning, science, engineering, natural resources or equivalent.
Remuneration: PO3 ($99,788 to $105,495) + 11.5% superannuation paid to your choice of super fund.
