About the position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our team. You will be part of a collaborative team with exposure to top tier architects, developers and industry professionals and involved in a diverse range of residential, industrial, commercial and mixed use projects, policy work and planning studies.
Responsibilities include:
- preparing Environmental Impact Statements
- preparing Statements of Environmental Effects and Reviews of Environmental Factors
- preparing Planning Proposals
- leading large urban renewal master planning projects
- preparing policy advice and undertaking development assessments for Government agencies and Councils
- interfacing with clients, other consultants and authorities
About you
- Recognised NSW Planning qualifications or equivalent
- Demonstrated professional planning experience in local or State government or private practice
- Can do attitude with an excellent work ethic
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good working knowledge of the EP&A Act and associated legislation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer literate
- Ability to work as a part of a team with clients, specialist consultants and local authorities
- Sounds time management and project management skills
- Current driver’s licence
- Valid right to work in Australia
