Speaker: Riye Arai-Coupe, Partner & Co-Founder at Bluebird Property Partners

Riye Arai-Coupe is Co-Founder & Partner of Bluebird, a specialist property development company based in Brisbane. Bluebird was established in 2018, a rapidly growing company built from the ground up, working with small privates to Tier 1 corporate developers throughout SEQ. As experienced development managers and highly regarded in their field, the company was founded in the belief that there was a need for different approach to property development. An approach that values end-to-end strategy, meaningful stakeholder engagement, sustainability and design-driven solutions, delivered within a model that enables developers to upsource and upskill during critical planning and project phases.

Riye has over 15 years’ experience in property development, including nearly a decade at Mirvac where she oversaw the $1b urban renewal project in Newstead. Since co-founding Bluebird, Riye has worked on iconic projects, including with Destination Brisbane on the Queen’s Wharf Residences, and with other leading developers such as Consolidated Properties Group and AVID Property Group.

Since 2013, Riye has served on a range of Property Council of Australia committees, dedicating herself to the wider property industry. Riye has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Building & Construction (Management) and Bachelor of Applied Science (Property Economics), and holds the Bluebird QBCC Builder – Project Management Services Licence.
