What is planning need and how is it assessed by the P&E Court?
Planning need is a concept imbedded in both the Planning Act 2016, along with planning case law. But what does this actually mean?
This seminar will seek to answer the following questions:
- What does the term planning need encapsulate and how is it assessed by the Court?
- What does planning need not include?
- What type of expertise are best suited to giving evidence around planning need?
- What are the considerations given by the Court in assessing planning need?
The discussion will also cover any relevant case law.
