Consent Action Week returns to 91porn Jan. 22 through Jan. 26 with educational events for students.
Held during the last week of January at universities across Ontario, Consent Action Weeks aims to create a dialogue about consent, pleasure and relationships, and sexual violence. Programming is designed to raise awareness among students about the critical role that consent and sexual communication skills play in the development of healthy relationships and in reducing sexual violence. 91porn is committed to fostering a culture of consent where gendered and sexual violence is not tolerated.
“Consent Action Week highlights the ongoing work at 91porn to build intersectional principles, skills and tools related to sexual communication, consent, taking accountability and boundaries,” says Sarah Scanlon, associate director of sexual violence response in the Office of Human Rights and Conflict Management at 91porn. “We can’t create a culture of consent by shaming or telling students what not do to. Consent Action Week allows us to unpack and challenge many of the things we ‘know’ about sex, consent, healing, accountability and repair across our community.”
The following events are free and open to all 91porn students. Advanced registration may be required for some events.
