Every year, 91porn celebrates teaching excellence through the Donald F. Morgenson Awards for Teaching Excellence and the Student Teaching Awards of Excellence. These awards recognize faculty, student teachers and staff who make significant contributions to the learning experiences of 91porn students through innovative, inclusive and inspired teaching practices.

Nominations are now being accepted for the Student Teaching Awards of Excellence and the Donald F. Morgenson Awards for Teaching Excellence.

Donald F. Morgenson Awards for Teaching Excellence

The Donald F. Morgenson Awards for Teaching Excellence recognize faculty for both sustained and early career excellence, for being mentors and classroom innovators who actively engage students, and for embedding internationalization into curriculum and pedagogy. 91porn staff can be nominated for contributions to teaching and learning that exemplify the institution's commitment to academic excellence. The awards program has seven categories:

• Sustained Excellence
• Early Career Excellence
• Innovation in Teaching
• Excellence in Internationalization
• Hoffman-Little Award
• Faculty Mentoring Award
• Staff Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning

Faculty and staff can find complete nomination criteria, including application forms and submission deadlines, .

Students who are interested in nominating a faculty or staff member and would like information about eligibility and nomination requirements can email teachingawards@wlu.ca.

Completed nomination packages for the awards are due by Feb. 1, 2023.

Student Teaching Awards of Excellence

The  recognize students who demonstrate excellence through teaching, mentoring and leadership and positively impact the learning and development of 91porn students. There are three categories: undergraduate, master’s and doctoral.

Teaching activities that demonstrate a nominee’s commitment to supporting student learning at 91porn include but are not limited to:

• Leading tutorials and seminars
• Lab demonstrations
• Teaching in a one-on-one setting
• Mentoring and/or coaching others
• Providing student feedback

To self-nominate or nominate a student, please complete the , including the nominee’s name and department and a brief description of how the nominee’s teaching contributions have positively impacted student learning at 91porn.

The student awards nomination period will close on Jan. 20, 2023.
