Simon is a Technical Director for Environment and Approvals within GHD’s environmental team in Tasmania.

Simon has 19 years’ experience, focusing on the fields of environmental impact assessment, ecology, natural resource management and the management of large infrastructure projects. Simon has overseen the delivery of numerous Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects, particularly Level 2 Assessments under EMPCA including windfarms, transmission infrastructure, sewage treatment plants, mining operations, waste disposal facilities, subdivisions, pipelines, power cables and roads.

Simon works regularly with community groups, governments, private business and industry to achieve sustainable development outcomes.
