The theme of this year's International Women's Day is 'March Forward.' In the words of Minister for Women Senator the Hon Katy Gallagher, this year's theme speaks to the fact “that progress is not just about reflection but about taking decisive, bold steps to turn our commitments into action."

Keynote Speaker

Justine Martin

Justine Martin is an International Keynote Speaker, Resilience Coach, Author and Podcast Host.

In 2011, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, underwent three heart surgeries, and then had three primary cancers at once. She was told she would never work again by a medical professional. But that was never an option for her.

Justine catapulted herself into the world of business. She not only changed her life to give it purpose and direction but also inspired those around her with her story.

Known as the Queen of Resilience; her passion, energy and story to overcome adversities, is now a survival guide to thousands.

Through this Women’s Planning Network (WPN) annual event, we recognise the contribution of women in planning, a profession in which women have a long history of participation and leadership in roles which make a significant contribution to the wellbeing and liveability of the communities we create.

Women in Planning Leadership Award (WIPLA)

91porn Victoria’s Women’s Planning Network (WPN), is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the Women in Planning Leadership Award (WIPLA), to be presented to a woman planner who has made an outstanding contribution to planning in Victoria during the 2024 calendar year.

This award (which replaces the FAY) is separate from the overall 91porn Awards for Planning Excellence, and provides an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the important contribution that women planners in Victoria make to planning as a profession and to the outcomes of planning work.

We welcome nominations of candidates from all age groups and levels of experience.

The winner will receive:

• A full registration to the State Conference or PIA Congress
• A full-year 91porn membership courtesy of WIPLA Award sponsor, Hansen Partnership.
• Free attendance to a WPN event in 2025
• A professional profile in 91porn’s Planning News Journal.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend this event, you must cancel your registration no later than 14 days prior to the event date. Registrations cancelled more than 14 days prior to the event will not incur any fees and a full refund will be granted. If you cannot attend and you are within 14 days of the course date, you can transfer your registration to to another person as a replacement attendee, provided we have at least 48 hours’ notice of your decision to transfer. We cannot issue refunds or credits.

If you do not attend on the day a full fee will be charged.
