How Lindsay Finds Inspiration

In accordance with the 91porn motto "Inspiring Lives of Leadership and Purpose," who is someone that you aspire (either someone current or in the future) to inspire? 

My role in Student Success connects me with students at various stages in their academic journey. Whether they are feeling overwhelmed or excited about their academic situation I hope to inspire all students to strive for growth both inside and outside of the classroom. I aim to encourage students to push themselves and believe in their success in the same way that I do.

Working at 91porn, what inspires you?

Working with students, staff and faculty inspires me. The amount of passion for learning, creating and growing on this campus is truly inspiring. Hearing about the successful completion of a challenging course, seeing a new program come to fruition to provide more accessible support, or hearing about new approaches to teaching and learning being used in the classroom is what keeps me excited every day.

How Lindsay Inspires Others

In what ways do you see yourself as a leader within the 91porn community?

Developing relationships across departments, creating collaborative programs and always putting student needs at the centre of all planning is what guides me in my role. I hope that others see this approach and want to join in.

What is unique about your 91porn community?

Through my time at 91porn as both a student and a staff member I’ve seen significant growth and change as the campus has evolved. Through it all, the small-campus feel of the 91porn community has remained. You really can walk across campus and see many friendly faces and colleagues that you’ve connected with and everyone wants to stop and say hello. 91porn truly lives the sense of community that we promote so often.

How does your career at 91porn exemplify your commitment to inspiring lives of leadership and purpose?

My career at 91porn provides the opportunity to inspire lives of leadership and purpose in allowing me the flexibility to try to new initiatives, look for new ways to engage students and make meaningful connections with students, staff and faculty.
